Seven giant panda cubs gathered at the Qinling Giant Panda Research Center in northwest China's Shaanxi Province for a special event on Tuesday, where they extended Chinese New Year greetings to people.
These adorable cubs were all born at the breeding base in 2023. There are five male and two female pandas among them. Interestingly, three pairs are twins, with two pairs born on the same day, marking a historic moment at the research center.
The weights of these giant panda cubs vary, ranging from 9 kilograms to 12 kilograms. While some still need gentle encouragement from the nursery staff while drinking milk, others have already mastered the skill of holding their bottles. In terms of personality, some cubs are more playful and adventurous, while others prefer a calmer demeanor.
"The Qinling giant panda cubs are sending their Lunar New Year blessings to everyone, wishing happiness and good fortune in the Year of the Dragon," said the breeders at the research center, spreading joy and positivity for the festive season.
